Income Map ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when using our income-planning platform.

2. Information we collect

• Account data — name, email, password hash, verification status
• Profile & assessment data — age, country, education, income, savings, skills, interests, goals, and availability
• Usage data — roadmap progress, daily plan completions, coach messages, and product interactions
• Billing data — subscription plan and payment status (payment details are handled by our payment processor)
• Technical data — device/browser info, IP address, and logs needed to operate and secure the service

3. How we use information

We use your data to:

• Provide assessments, recommendations, roadmaps, and coaching
• Track progress toward your income goals
• Process subscriptions and prevent fraud or abuse
• Improve product quality and fix errors
• Send account, billing, and security notifications

4. AI processing

Assessment answers and roadmap context may be sent to AI providers to generate personalized content. We instruct providers to use this data only to deliver the service, not to train public models on your personal information where we can prevent it.

5. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us run Income Map (hosting, email, payments, AI), when required by law, or to protect users and the platform.

6. Retention

We keep account and progress data while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

7. Security

Passwords are stored using industry-standard hashing. We use access controls and encryption in transit, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

8. Your choices

You can update profile and income information in Settings, retake your assessment, or change your password at any time. You may opt out of non-essential marketing emails via unsubscribe links.
